What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to run the site:

• Enquiry details. Your name, email address, phone number and message when you send an enquiry, book a test drive, ask about finance or request a valuation.
• Vehicle details. When you ask us to value or part-exchange a car, the details and photographs you give us about it.
• Account details. If you create an account, your name, email address and the vehicles you save or compare.
• Technical data. Your browser type, device and pages visited, collected so the site works and so we can see which listings are useful.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a viewing, test drive or valuation.
• To prepare a finance illustration when you ask for one.
• To keep a record of what was agreed, which we may need for a sale.
• To keep the website secure and working.

Our lawful basis is normally that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.

Finance illustrations

The finance calculator on this site produces an illustration only. It is not a quotation, not an offer of finance, and no credit search is carried out when you use it. Nothing you type into it is submitted anywhere unless you send us a finance enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where it is necessary: with a finance provider if you ask us to arrange finance, with our hosting and email providers so the site and our messages work, and with anyone we are legally required to tell.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records connected to a completed sale are kept for as long as the law requires. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account.

Cookies

The site sets a small number of cookies so that it works: keeping you signed in, remembering the vehicles you shortlist or compare, and remembering whether you prefer the grid or list layout on the listings. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site will stop remembering your choices if you do.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it;
• stop using it for marketing.
